Software Tester
Safeware Quasar Limited are currently seeking an experienced Software Tester to join the development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing automated tests for the company’s range of web based and existing client-server applications.
With at least 2 years commercial development experience preferably within a test, environment the ideal candidate will also be familiar with C# or similar low level programming languages with experience of commercial test software. A good understanding of traditional software testing principals (Boundary Testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, etc) is desirable.
Applicants will be involved in all aspects of product development from writing user specifications to designing, creating and running automated testing procedures/scripts .
The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail and possess a methodical, logical approach to constructing test procedures.
Basic knowledge of Relational Databases (ideally SQL Server) and HTML along with excellent PC literacy is essential.
Candidates considered for interview will be required to sit a technical test involving programming examples and able to demonstrate the solutions and code produced.
