The provision for accurately labelling products is key to chemical hazard communication, especially with the advent of new emerging regulations including the Globally Harmonised System (GHS).

Available in three versions (Standard, Advanced and Enterprise), ChemlabelPro can be configured to meet the most demanding label printing and designs, with support for colour printing across all versions as standard. The system can be fully configured to operate as a simple standalone print system through to a fully customised, integrated, automated, enterprise wide multiprinter, multi-site replicated labelling solution. Amongst the array of features the software’s advanced designer minimises the number of templates required, independent of language – streamlining set-up and administration costs.
The solution also supports 'touch screen' terminals with CLP’s built-in on screen keyboard (OSK). Advanced editing features from 'fit-to-box' to fully programmable logic fields, enable the most complex of label designs to be reproduced with the minimum of effort. As well as direct integration with Safeware’s own SDS Authoring solution, SDS Professional, the label software can be integrated with third party system including manufacturing systems.

Key feature of ChemLabel
- SDS Professional Integration as Standard – approved products and languages from SDS Professional are instantly available without further data entry ensuring the label printed is identical to the Safety Data Sheet.
- User Access Levels - Set up access rights and privileges from print only users through to full administration access to manage and control editing.
- Secured Templates - prevents unauthorised editing.
- Customisable Workflow - Completely automate label production with a user define interface for increased automation and eliminate user intervention and errors.
- Generic Label Templates - A single template can be used for any language with no further editing. Simply select the language required from the drop down box. Alternatively design generic multi-lingual labels and simply select the
user definable languages. - Touch screen compatible - usable so that a print user can use in a hostile environment where mouse and keyboard may not be suitable via the systems inbuilt On-Screen Keyboard (OSK).
- Bar Code Support - All industry-standard linear, 2-D, EAN.UCC 128 and RSS (Linear and Composite) barcode types.
- Prompted Data Fields with data validation - These are prompted at print time for the user - important distinction to SDS Professional fields which are NEVER editable via Chemlabel.
- “Fit to box” functionality so that text fits well in available space.
- Data Field Definitions - Serialization with custom base, roll over and increment control, Current Date and time fields and programmable logic fields.
