Supply Module (GHS and EU Classification System)
The Supply Module used for supply classification has grown from strength to strength proving to be the most advanced and accurate classification module on the market. The module's unique ability to store the most complex formulations and calculate to a high degree of accuracy gives users ultimate confidence and trust in its results.
Originally the EU classification module has been rewritten to incorporate the logic for the Globally Harmonised System (GHS) with the same levels of accuracy and consistency of its predecessor.
Transport Classification Module
Safeware Quasar's Export Documentation Module intelligently produces a document containing all of the relevant information in three different layouts consistent with ADR, IMDG and IATA requirements respectively. Dangerous goods descriptions are read directly from the SDS Porfessional database, ensuring that the data across all outputs including the label, SDS and DGN are consistent. Additional information may be added as desired to provide an optimal balance between regulatory compliance and flexibility and supplier, consignee and carrier addresses may be stored in the database for rapid creation of documentation for similar consignments.
The Transport Classification Module incorporates a unique 'wizard' enabling users to assess complex mixtures for varying modes of transport to include Road/Rail (ADR), Sea (IMDG) and Air (ICAO/IATA) in order to intelligently complete Section 14 of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and produce the necessary export documentation.
Test methods results can be entered (if available) to determine the associated classes and packing groups.
Detergent Classification Module
In response to legislation introduced in October 2005, Safeware Quasar have developed the Detergent Classification Module to ensure users trading detergents or products considered to have washing or cleaning functions within the EU are compliant.
This simple and effective solution package includes everything required to fulfil a supplier's obligations quickly and efficiently including:
- Detergent labelling
- Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) including the CESIO recommendations and label provisions
- Provision for detergent Ingredient Data Sheets and Medical Data Sheets
- Online hosting of Detergent documents via My-SDS
Hazardous Waste Classification Module
Under the Duty of Care, waste producers and waste management companies are required to classify and describe their waste correctly. In order to accurately classify waste, it is necessary to perform a Hazardous Property Assessment. Safeware Quasar's Hazardous Waste Classification Module simply guides users through the intricate process of hazard assessment to produce a European Waste Catalogue (EWC) via an intuitive 'wizard.' The module's capabilities extend to reproducing the list in full, indicating to the user suitable 'minor' entries and 'absolute' entries.
